Born by mistake?

Birth is a conscious act. We can’t really say “I gave birth all of a sudden”, can we?

I gave birth to this blog while I was creating the http://eilieva.blogspot.com/ and ever since I have been referring to it as “the born by mistake one”.

I remember that I was checking the availability of different name combinations and I guess this is how it has been recorded by the system. In any case after carefully completing the steps of blog creation I found out that I have managed to create two blogs instead of one.

Now, I am glad to have it. However, it took me a while to say: “It is also my creation; I will take care of it.”

I realize that this story could be easily compared to a mother who gave birth to twins, but since she was expecting one baby only did not accept the other.

Now I see the “born by mistake” one as a door that stayed open long enough for me to decide to enter. And also as a silent messenger from the realms of the unknown showing there is more to express, more to write, more to share than I imagined. Obviously I did not want to listen for a while.

So, this blog is about being willing to listen and about staying awake!

Self-evidently, it will be in English. I found out that having a blog in Bulgarian is a powerful way to stay rooted in my mother tongue. However it only partly represented me. Now, having a blog in English might be a way to stretch branches further out towards the larger world and yes, hopefully experience more wholeness.

In any case I hope that this blog will be a constant reminder to stay awake and listen to the whispers from the realms of the unknown disguised as “mistakes”, serendipities and synchronicities.
